Beware of the Walk-up Shot

Have you ever heard of the walk-up shot in photography?  That is when you see something interesting and you just walk up and take a picture. While the subject may interest you, you may end up with a boring image.

Take time to walk around your subject if possible, seeing it from different perspectives.  Get down low or go high to see something different. Even a small change can make a big difference in an image. Do not be satisfied with the walk-up shot.
